GOAL: Find a soft, water-resistant shower curtain liner to replace a terrific one that has seen better days. (Years, actually)I have a mid-century house with an old-style bathroom. The decorative curtain is a heavy, beautiful, expensive confection from A** and F*tch. (I hate plastic-y, shiny shower curtain liners that feel like blister packaging.)Tried to find a "weighted" curtain to tame the billowing shower ghost, but the only option was magnets. Which are useless on my ceramic-coated cast iron tub.This one is not weighted, but heavy enough to stay put without swirling. I'm pleased with its ability to keep water off of the floor, and I plan to buy a second one for a future replacement when the time comes. (Like your favorite skin care eye shadow color, the best things are ALWAYS discontinued when you try to buy them again....)Can't speak to the wash-ability, or the "rust-resistance" of the hooks, because I just hung this up this week. But so far it's a winner. Nice soft fabric, nice pattern, good weight and good water resistance.Just enough shimmer to be quietly attractive, without being loud & obvious.
