I love the way this curtain rod looks, but it is missing a small metal piece so I can’t use it. ?There are three rod pieces that make up the rod itself. On one end, there is an extension slid inside of it. Hard to see. We didn't notice until we had it up and holes already drilled, but it was our fault for not looking closer. Very good quality for the price. Sturdier than any extendable rods I've ever purchased.I love it a lot. Although the rod is very thin, it seems sturdy enough to span 48” and holds straight. (Longer spans might be of concern.) Very easy to assemble & install, looks great. I even had a somewhat “off script” install and the parts are very interchangeable. A+This is the best option short of going to the hardware store and making a true pipe curtain rod. This sags a bit, but a lot less than most when holding black-out curtains. The hex wrench set screws are a bit fiddly and do not hold quite enough without denting the pipe, so it is only so strong. If you are missing any pieces, the company works hard to make it right.Really pleased with result of this curtain pole as I needed one pile without a middle piece . The curtains need to be able to go to one side when pulled back.Only point lost was for the instructions which were not the easiest to follow. Thankfully common sense saw me through ok.Overall would buy again if needed same set up repeated.Comes in a small box, similar to a shoe box size. Takes several pieces to make 1 pole which means that when it's put together, it doesn't stay rigid. In my opinion, it wouldn't be suitable to be classed as a curtain pole. Returned the item but Royal mail cancelled my collection after waiting in all day! Ended up having to make the journey to the post office to drop it off as royal mail couldn't schedule another collection. Not a great buying experience all round!Part missing and the company responded very quickly to sort.
