The curtains have a nice silky feel and block light well. I did not like the way they hung because the rod pocket is too large and the top was a little sloppy. I added a row of stitching through the middle of the rod pocket effectively cutting the size in half (see my photo) and creating a small ruffle at the top. The curtains hang much better and the tighter rod pocket makes the curtains stay where I put them when open. Overall, the curtains are nice but I'm much happier with them after making my adjustment.They were the perfect shade of black really deep dark colored. They were thick the black out and only the light but the heat. I also bought red curtains so we have a red in the center and two of these black ones on the sides and it looks amazing. Highly recommend.I was surprised by how nice the fabric of these curtains is. There is a silky smoothness about the feel that is very satisfying, The manufacturer also is honest about the light-blocking ability of the lighter colors. Most of the light is blocked because the weave of the fabric is pretty tight. However, it is not a complete blackout, which I was ok with. Again, the description and photos are accurate, but I just want to underscore that these are not the triple layer curtains you see on Amazon. These are one single layer of fabric. The fabric is also fairly easy to iron; I had to go over some areas twice, but I didn't mind that. One small difficulty is that one of my curtain panels was shorter than the 72" I expected. It came in around 71". I'm not sure if all panels measure 71' or if they all vary in length. That is why they only got four stars, the quality control on that point was lacking and could make a real difference to some customers.I don't think it's total black out. But it definitely does the job well enough. It's definitely not wrinkle free but I own an iron. It looks cute. I like them. Just waiting on the rest of my order. The dark grey looks niceAlthough they don't block light as well as my old black-out curtains...I have to take into consideration that they are also a lighter color (previous curtains were black).These are also just shy of wide enough to cover my window (without buying another set)...even with the widest size available.I have a double curtain rod...so putting a set of sheer curtains behind them helps a bit.All-in-all I'm honestly pleased with these curtains considering the value & quality. ?Product is being used as a moveable screen room divider. Product looks and performs as expected.They work great! Effectively blocking about 70-75% of the light coming into our bedroom. The curtains are green when the lights are on, but when you turn the lights off, the little bit of light that does make it through the windows turns it a really pretty aqua blue-green! Double check the dimensions with your window length though, as our was a bit short, but we have a short dresser blocking the bottom of the window, so it worked great for us. Don't expect discreet packaging though... Amazon is generally pretty good about over-packaging, but they fell flat on their face on this one. A shippi6 label was slapped on the clear plastic sleeve that the curtains were in, and that's how it was mailed....Pretty but wish it was more sun blackout drivenIs a very nice, soft fabric however they aren't blackout.
