The good: The fabric has a very nice feel to it, and they filter light quite nicely. Don’t buy these if you need blackout curtains. They are marketed as room darkening, but when you awake in the morning you’ll disagree.The bad: The curtains all seem to be cut on the bias, rather than straight along the warp and weft of the fabric. I bought six of these curtains for three separate bedroom windows, and all of them are are like this. It’s really prominent when backlit by sunlight, but not evident when illuminated by interior lighting. The fold creases are super prominent and require a good ironing with lots of steam to get rid of them. And brand new, out of the package, two curtains had snags in the fabric.The ugly: The hem stitches are as crooked as young Forrest Gump’s legs. See photo. I really noticed this when ironing the curtains. Fortunately, the hem stitching isn’t visible on the hanging curtains unless you’re trying to see them. The real groaner for me is the inconsistent pattern printing from curtain to curtain — higher on some and lower on others. I should have noticed this on Amazon’s marketing photo, which clearly shows the pattern inconsistency between the left and right curtains, but I didn’t. Out of six total curtains, no two curtains had matching pattern positions. And lastly, the overall length of the curtains varied from panel to panel.In the end, manufacturing quality just isn’t there on these retail curtains. But the price was right, so I guess I can live with the flaws they ALL have, versus spending a lot of money on custom curtains.
